Our Mission: 

To provide young entrepreneurs with experiential based education focused on launching their own business. By helping to develop goals, plans, leadership skills, and by coaching them through the start-up process, we teach Idaho youth what it takes to succeed in this competitive market and how to reach their full potential.

Stats on Young Entrepreneurs

Gallup studies show that of those high school students surveyed:

27% take entrepreneurial business courses.

35% take economics courses.

44% think it's very important to teach entrepreneurship in schools.

70% want to start their own business.

The Educating Young Entrepreneurs "EYEclub" was founded in May of 2007 by a group of Gem County youth who wanted to start their own businesses.  Since that time, we have launched 5 youth owned enterprises and have many more new businesses in the planning stages.

 

Over the past year, our membership has grown to 35 students ranging from 7th through 12th grade.  Cumulatively, we have invested more than 10,000 hours in support of our youth business ventures and in giving-back to our communities through various service projects.
